Our region was chartered November 29, 1976. Since then, more than 50,000 children between the ages of 3 and 18 have participated in our program. More than 4000 adult and youth volunteers have helped the program be a success.  Soccer in Carson City has a great partnership with the entire community. Our Parks and Recreation Department does a great job maintaining Peter Livermore (Edmonds) Sports Complex. We are fortunate to have some of the finest soccer fields in northern Nevada for our use.

AYSO community soccer leagues are called Regions and we are one of almost 1,000 AYSO Regions across America.  AYSO is a non-profit organization and is the oldest national youth soccer program in the United States.  Our mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs throughout the country which promote a fun, family environment built on the foundation of our Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development.  Please feel free to learn more.

All AYSO programs are run by volunteers. We are always looking for help running the program, from serving on our board to helping set out corner flags, there is always something that you can do to help the kids in our community. Volunteering with AYSO is easy: we will train you if necessary, and give you clear, easy assignments. We appreciate the help you give us, even if it is only one day during the entire season.
