Players and volunteers must register with AYSO in order to participate in regional activities. Player registration is described first. Scroll down for information on volunteer registration.

Player Registration

Walk-in registration clinics are: April 17, May 2, May 12, and May 16. See the CALENDAR link for location and time.

Registration opens in April and May, with on-line registration starting April 2. Regular registration closes June 15. REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST BASED ON DATE RECEIVED AND MAY NOT GET PLACED ON A TEAM. LATE REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE THROUGH eAYSO.org

CORRECTED AGE AND BIRTHDATE GUIDELINES FOR THE FALL 2007 SEASON
Age as of August 1, 2007 determines division. Players must be at least 4-1/2 years old and less than 19 years old on August 1.

U-19 -- 8/1/88 and 7/31/91
U-16 -- 8/1/91 and 7/31/93
U-14 -- 8/1/93 and 7/31/95
U-12 -- 8/1/95 and 7/31/97
U-10 -- 8/1/97 and 7/31/99
U-8 -- 8/1/99 and 7/31/2001
U-6 -- 8/1/2001 to 7/31/2002
U-5 -- 8/1/2002 to 7/31/2003

Required Documents for Registration
Copy of birth certificate for every player that did not play in the preceding Fall (regular) season.
Completed registration form, with signatures by parent or legal guardian
A check for the appropriate fees. The 2007 fees are $50 for the first child in a family and $45 for each additional child.

Important Announcement: You can now perform much of the registration process on-line at www.eayso.org. On-line registration is much easier for our volunteers, so we encourage you to try it. If you have problems or questions registering on-line, please contact our Registrar (voicemail 882-2976), or email registrar @ aysocarsoncity.org.

Note that you MUST PRINT TWO COPIES OF THE REGISTRATION FORM AND BRING IT TO A REGISTRATION CLINIC WITH ANY NEEDED DOCUMENTATION (see above).

Easy steps for Parents

1. Log on to www.eayso.org. Click on “Click here to get a Username & Password”

2. The next screen is the Parent Registration form. Provide your name, contact information and your e-mail address. Choose a username (your email address) and a password.

3. Once you have completed the Parent Registration a screen will appear which states: “Thanks for Registering." Click on the "Back" button

4. You can now login to the system with the username and password that you entered during registration.

5. You will then find a Welcome screen with your name. Click on the My eAYSO link in the upper left portion of the screen and the Pre Registration menu will appear.

6. Click on "Edit Member information" and ensure that all the information is correct. Click Save

7. Click on "View/Edit Parent Information". Complete all red star marked fields (ex, Relationship to child)

8. To pre register your child, click on "Add a Player". Select the Region.
(NOTE: Carson City is Region 140). (If you do not find the correct region, enter your zipcode and use the tab key. The screen will refresh and provide you Regions in that zipcode. If you still don't get Regions, use the State and City drop downs and select your City). Answer "yes" or "no" to the question whether your child has played with AYSO before. Click Next. Enter your child's details. Remember to complete all red star marked fields. After completing all fields, click "Save". You will be given 3 choices - Add one more Player, Become a Volunteer and Return to main menu. Make the required selection.

9. To pre register as a Volunteer, click on "Become a Volunteer". Complete the required fields for the Volunteer form. All red star marked fields are required.

10. Complete Step 8 or 9 before doing step 10. The forms will print with the data entered in Step 8 and 9. To Print the pre registration form, click on Print Pre registration form. Select Player or Volunteer form and click on Print/Preview Forms. You will see a print icon on the top left corner. If you have a printer attached to your computer click on the printer icon and print the form. You could also save the form in your computer to print it later.
11. After registering your children, you can PAY ON-LINE. It is safe and secure (we use one of the largest national providers for this service). Choose PAYMENT when prompted. You can also pay on-line later, by signing on to eAYSO again, and choosing PAYMENT. If you do pay on-line, we strongly recommend you print a copy of your receipt for your own records, AND FOR OURS. See Step 12 below.
12. After you have registered on-line, YOU MUST STILL ATTEND A WALK-IN REGISTRATION. However, you can go to the EXPRESS LINE. Bring 2 (two) copies of your on-line registration - SIGNED by a parent or legl guardian, and either a check for the appropriate amount, cash, or (better yet), the extra copy of your on-line invoice (we recommended you print it, remember?).

NOTE :
1. You need to have Acrobat Reader in your machine to print forms. If your computer does not have Acrobat Reader, click here or go to www.adobe.com and download the Reader.

2. Ensure that you have a printer connected to your computer to print the form.

3. Forms can be downloaded and printed only after completing Step 8 or 9. Please check the contents of the form. Use the View/Edit option in My eAYSO to update player or volunteer information and print the form again.

Volunteer Registration
AYSO is an entirely volunteer organization with a few paid staff positions only at the national level. We appreciate all help and assistance. Adults and youth volunteers (12 years of age or older) are key parts of our program. Volunteers who work with players or who serve in established regional positions must be registered with AYSO. Volunteer registration is simple: one completes an AYSO Volunteer Form, signs it, and provides proof of identity. For adults, proof of identity is a government-issued form of identification. A Regional Board Member will examine your form, check your identity and counter-sign the form. If your volunteer position has training sessions, please check our calendar and/or contact our volunteer coordinator (voicemail 882-AYSO, mailbox 2 or email to volunteer @ aysocarsoncity.org).

Volunteer registrations must be updated annually.

Government-issued identification (for adult volunteers)
Your choice of hundreds of things that make the region go!

Important News: You can now register as a volunteer on-line at www.eayso.org We strongly encourage you to do use on-line registration. Note that you must print 2 copies of the registration and bring it to a Board Member (for example, at a Registration Clinic) for signature. Don't forget your identification!
