Updated COVID Guidance

Dear Parents and Volunteers-

We received updated return-to-play guidance from the National Office. We wanted to ensure all parents, players and volunteers understand the following:

Spacing. Spectators should try to remain 6 feet apart from other family units. AYSO volunteers will not be monitoring this recommendation.
Masking. Masking is optional. Referees should allow players to wear masks while playing, if the parent or player wishes to do so. Masks should be soft and properly worn on the face. No face shields or masks with hard metal or plastic while playing. If the player needs to take the mask off while playing, it should be put with player's gear - face masks should not be worn on the wrist, carried or dangle off the ears or neck.
Stay Home When Sick. If you or your child may be sick, please stay home to prevent the spread of disease to others. A good rule of thumb is, if your child needs to stay home from school, keep them home from soccer.
